About Flagpreneur
Local events, people and practical resources for business owners in the Flagstaff area.
Aaron Charlton
I’m a Flagstaff-area entrepreneur and marketing scientist with about 20 years of experience helping businesses grow.
I founded Charlton Digital, where I help local service businesses get found through search marketing, and co-founded Medical BOSS, which provides remote staffing and back-office support for independent healthcare practices.
I’m also the developer behind Bare Bones SEO, a WordPress SEO settings plugin.
I hold a PhD in marketing from the University of Oregon and an MBA from Arizona State University, and previously taught marketing at Illinois State University.
I built Flagpreneur to make it easier to find local events, discover useful resources and meet the people building businesses here.

What makes the calendar?
We prioritize free, in-person business and startup events open to the local community, without required membership or ongoing commitments.
Check each listing for admission and RSVP details. Subscribing to the calendar doesn’t register you for events.
